New River Gorge Trip

Well Friday we were climbing at Ping and decided on driving down to West Virginia the following morning to go climb. When we got to Hawk's Nest we realized that the dam was flooded really high and had covered up the usual bouldering rocks. It made for some decent pictures though. We decided to hike around for a little bit to try to find some other rocks and we were more than amazed at our discovery. It was a steep hike but we found some insane rocks that all had anchors and some sick boulders. We met some other climbers there and had a good time but we didn't bring any rope so we couldn't do any of the sport climbs. Next warm day we're goin back and bringing everything and camping out there for the weekend.
